As Databricks Data Architect you will be responsible for designing how the Databricks platform is set up and used in practice. This includes defining workspace layouts, compute configuration, storage and Delta table strategy, and how data flows through Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers. Deciding where data should live, how it should be modelled, and which Databricks features to use for building scalable pipelines. Defining governance, security, and data quality standards, help optimize performance and costs, and work closely with data engineers and consumers to turn requirements into working, production‑ready data solutions.
